The MIC (hardware) can sometimes cause this problem, but most of the time it's caused by Android systems or caches.

There are a few basic solutions to Lenovo Yoga Smart Tab microphone issues:

Lenovo smartphones need to be restarted.
After removing the battery for 3 minutes, replace it and then switch it on.
Switch off the phone, then turn it on again using Hand free.

01. Enter the safe mode on your Lenovo Yoga Smart Tab

You can do it by following these steps:

- The device should be turned off.
- When the Power Key appears on the screen, release the Power Key.

Your device should be turned off.

Press Volume Up, Power Button, and Home Button at the same time.

Using the Volume buttons, highlight Wipe Data/Factory Reset and select it using the Power Button.

To select it, highlight Yes-delete all user data with the Volume buttons and press the Power button.

03. Record and listen to a voice or a call.

If a factory reset doesn't work, it may be a hardware issue in your phone. You then try to record your voice or call and confirm that your voice is faint or barely audible.

04. Wipe the Lenovo device's microphone hole

Use a thin needle or use compressed air to blow on the hole to away all the dirt and debris.
