Any tools or software you require your VA to use should be listed in the initial Virtual Assistant request you submit. Use the built-in form to let us know which types of tools you want the VA to be familiar with and which tools you expect them to already have.
You will need to provide any additional tools and programs you are using in your business. You are the best person to introduce the VA to any additional tools they are expected to learn.
Here are a few examples of times you may have to provide a tool or software subscription for your VA:
- If the VA does not have a subscription for software you use, you may need to add them to your subscription or give them access as a team member
- If they require a professional subscription to Canva, you will need to provide one
- If they require a subscription or access to your CRM, you’ll need to provide that
You can expect your VA to learn to use the tools required for the position. You may need the VA to use a project management tool such as Monday.com, for example. They may not have access to a subscription. However, they may know how to use it because they’ve used it before in other instances or work experiences.
It’s important that you provide access to the tools your VA will need so they can do the job they’ve been hired to do.
